welcome to hogwarts. as the first stop to your journey, everyone is always thrilled to see the familiar entrance hall and dining hall. eat up!

this floor contains perhaps three of the most dull classes that hogwarts has. herbology with shrieking plants, muggle studies, and the always interesting history of magic are on the first floor.

watch out for this floor, for moaning myrtle lurks the girl's lavatory. defense against the dark arts with the very pink dolores umbridge takes place of this floor as well.

don't you just love a good charm? learn them in the charms classroom, located on this floor. but be careful, the trophy room is also located here. you do NOT want to break one of the school's prized trophies.

here is the library where you can study for tests. though, most people don't find it useful except for the restricted section for those illegal potions and brilliant pranks.

try not to visit this floor too often, but if you come to be friends with harry potter, you might practically live here. the hospital wing is located here for the sick and injured, and mcgonagall's transfiguration class is also here.

for those prissy prefects, they get there own little room to study. for those normal witches and wizards, the ancient runes classroom is located here.

if you have enough breath to make it up there, you will find the room of requirement, and the thrilling divinition classroom. steer clear of the grim, best of luck.

here all quidditch teams come to practice and participate in games. flying classes are also held in here with madame hooch.

herbology classes often take place in here. if you don't feel like doing the work, i'm sure neville longbottom can help you out.

most people are perhaps scared of this big teddy bear, but hagrid usually does not have objections to students visiting his household and dog.

this is one of the most dangerous places around hogwarts. creatures lurk within the meerky depths of this lake.

this is truly the most dangerous place around hogwarts this forests contains many deadly creatures. students are advised not to go in, because they may never come out.

something's not right about this tree. be careful not to get too close or you could find yourself being flung into the forbidden forest.

this place is not for the faint-hearted. most students aren't foolish enough to venture down here.

this is the only completely wizarding town in the world. only third years and higher are allowed to go.

all magical affairs are taken care of here. it is located underground in london.

what a dreadful place to live, but every great wizard starts off somewhere. this house is home to the dursleys.

home to the black family, this invisible-to-muggles house has been adopted as headquarters for the order of the phoenix.

here resides the malfoy family. the deatheaters are often here discussing important matters.

this was the first home to harry potter, and remains to bring back painful memories as it is where his parents were murdered.

where to board the hogwart's train. just don't let any muggles see you enter platform 9 & 3/4.

send out letters to other wizards through here! remember, they are to be in character.

not a very pleasant place to be, wizards are sent and contained here after violating the laws of the wizarding world.
