so, that gorgeous creature up there is alicia spinnet, a seventh year gryffindor who has a couple of secrets to her name, and a few things she absolutely loathes. she's a muggleborn witch, so she's always felt that much more behind the rest of her classmates, most of whom are at least halfbloods, and she's always been very self conscious of that fact. she hates it when people tell her she's a "mudblood," though if you're smart, you'll call her that when she's alone. generally, she's hanging around her best girlfriends angelina johnson and katie bell, and if the three of them are together then you'd best be prepared for a fight. at the moment, she's got a major crush on mister fred weasley, but because she knows that angelina feels the same way, she's kept her mouth shut for the past two or three years out of sisterly respect for the girl. and when it comes to the lovely thought of enemies, well, there's lots that fit in here. slytherins are always top on the list, but since umbridge has been telling the entire world that both harry and dumbledore are liars, umbridge has taken the new spot on her list. so, there's plenty of plotting opportunities here with miss spinnet, let's get moving guys!

oh, definitely. i figure that she and fred would have hit it off during their first year and would have been quick friends once she left her shell behind and became a little more adventurous. for the time being, i can volunteer her in his pranking against umbridge and the others, and like i said, she's had a crush on fred for a few years now. we can play around with it if you'd like, or you're more then welcome to stick with the slightly more canon fred/angelina. either way, she'll be broken hearted if he ever rejects her or ends up with ang. Definitely:D I would like to stick with the Fred/Angelina thing, however seeing as we don't have one yet, Fred can even get close to Alicia and simply begin to get more interested in Angelina when that happens. It'd be sad, but if it's going to happen anyway, may as well have a little fun beforehand , right? I mean, they attended the Yule Ball together, but it was a completely casual thing. He could bounce back and forth without intentions to hurt anyone.

it'll be very sad when it happens, but if/when we get an angelina and things turn out that way, alicia will be devestated. i can see her turning and pulling away from him once she finds out, which might scare her friends a little. but she'll do her best to be rational about the entire thing, even if her rational thought is that someone like him could never love her. enter the irrational fear of being alone forever...

oh, heck to the yes. there's always been a bitter rivalry between gryffindor and slytherin, even back during the days of the founders. the fact that she's muggleborn is strike two for alicia, and since she's supporting harry and dumbledore in all of this, that's strike three. no way in heck is she going to like or put up with astoria.

okay, so if/when we ever end up with a george, i might have alicia get really confused over how she feels for the weasley twins, not wanting to substitute the fact that she can't have fred by going after george. but if/when ginny finds out about her crush on fred, she'll be reluctant to tell the younger girl, especially since she's fred's sister. otherwise, teammates is definite, and alicia would always have her back.

Meleny is in Gryffindor but in a different year still she would've seen Alicia around the common room. She's a pure blood but her family calls her a filthy blood traitor because she has differing views about Voldemort and blood purity.

BEST FRIENDS FTW! I love when sites have Alicia's already when I join. So, here's Katie, who slots in as a best friend. I imagine us doing a lot of lazy threads together where the girls just aren't doing anything at all <3 In terms of major plottage, I don't see any, as of yet, because I've not thought of anything big for miss Bell here.
