physical description: Daphne has long dark brown hair which she usually wears strait and down and when she wears it up its usually in a claw clip. her eyes are a deep brown and while they show her emotions they also show how emotionally cut off she is. Her makeup consists of eyeliner and lip stain but other than that wears very little(doesn't really need to) She likes to wear dressy/casual shirts and blue jeans most days if given the chance and prefers boots and heels over tennies and sandles. Her ears are pierced and has a few others that are easily hidden.

overall history: Born in 1980 Daphne was an only child for only a short time, when her sister was born she had someone she could actually love. When her magic first started showing signs she would use it to make her sister laugh and to make their stories come to life and later to help her plants grow. At first the two were inseperable but as time progressed and her parents favoritism for her younger sister became more and more obvious, Daphne began secluding herself. She threw her time into gardening and combat. She stayed close enough to her sister, whom she still loved deeply, to keep an eye on her but far enough away to keep to herself. Eventually her heart became almost unreachable.
When she got her letter for Hogwarts there wasn't much excitment, of course she was expected to get in, but privately she couldn't stop smiling. When she arrived the size of the school adn the ammount of people there shocked Daphne causeing her to become even more withdrawn causing people quickly labled her an "Ice Queen" because of her lack of social behavior. And most teacher were lucky to find her in class on time if at all. Except for potions and herbology of course. [/color][/font]

Classes were finally over today and having suprised the teacher by actually showing up to class today Daphne decided she had earned herself a walk to the lake. As she made her way down the stair case she heard voices and the mention of her name. "What does that Daphne Greengrass have to be such an Ice Queen?! Its like she thinks she better than everyone else." one girl snickered. "I heard its just because she has a wand shoved up her-" The other stopped her sentance short seeing Daphne come around the corner. Their words stung but she wasn't gonna let them see that, she just gave them a cold look and smirked, passing them quickly with her shoulders back and her head held high.
When she made it to courtyard she started running, knocking a few first years over along her way. She didn't stop til she reached her favorite tree near the lake, gasping for air. She leaned against the tree and almost instantly felt tears well up and cause her to choke slightly.
Sliding to the ground she held back her tears. She wasn't gonna let people as worthless as them make the "Ice Queen" cry. Holding her knees to her chest she looked up to the sky and began to hum her favorite childhood lullaby.....
