Noon seemed to be the wrong time to plot the death of your husband with a man who was recommended by a cousin for killing her husband's mistress. Yes ladies and gentlemen murder was on the menu at La Bella Luna and Veronica Blackwood was dying for this special. It had taken her a long time to get to this point in her marriage where she couldn't take her cage anymore. Julian had his grip on Veroncia's life since she was eighteen and she refused to spend another year as his wife. Yes, to some murder would be considered a little extreme however, taken into account her husband was a Death Eater who had close ties with the Dark Lord himself she was being fare.
Veronica took in a deep breath through her nose and exhaled slowly through her mouth in order to force her body to relax. It seemed every five seconds she would scan the room from the large double doors to the long crowded bar to the maroon velvet tables around her then back to the doors. Repeat. La Bella Luna was a small Italian restaurant located in London, no one would be looking for her here or even expect a pureblood witch to surround herself with muggles. Veronica started to drum her fingers against the cloth as she started to become more impatient and nerves. The waitress noticed her uneasiness then offered to refill Veronica's wine glass. The witch agreed to only down half of her drink before the waitress could walk half way back to the kitchens.
“If he isn't here in fifteen minutes then I'm leaving,” Veronica whispered to herself. She had to return to the house by two in order to relieve the nanny and put Emma down for a nap. Emma, the reason why Veronica was in this restaurant and why she was going to leave this all behind her. Now only if the crazy son of a witch would get here so they could get this over with!

Reaper had never intended to get into the business of knocking off unwanted wizards, however once he'd done it once or twice he'd realized the money was worth the risk. He'd clanked together nearly300 galleons on his last job. Unable to put the money into Gringotts for fear of attracting attention he'd been carrying it around for nearly a month in a small leather pouch, carefully tucked in the folds of his cloak. He could feel the coins hitting against his body as he entered the small room, looking around for the client who had called him there that day. His face was hidden slightly behind his hooded cloak, he moved his hand up to throw the hood down as he stood at the entrance, his eyes scanning the small crowd before he saw her.
Reaper knew of Veronica Blackwood vaguely, recognizing her only from the occasional glance at pictures in his last client's home. The two women were cousin's and had both called upon him to make their lives better with the disposal of unneeded wizards. Reaper's thoughts were on the last disposal he'd made as he made his way across the room to where Ronnie sat, looking nervous. "Mind if I have a seat, love?" He asked casually, making the meeting look less like a meeting and more as if he happened to find her pretty and wanted to chat. He held his hand on the chair across the table from hers as he waited for her response, the sleeve of his cloak pulled up slightly to reveal the tail end of his dark mark.

By the time Veronica finished her second glass of wine someone new had come up towards her table. She looked questioningly at the stranger as if he were nothing more then a scruffy low life looking for a little action from a high class lady. Yes, she had become acquainted with men trying to pick her up at bars and public locations. However, she couldn't hex his man because they were surrounded by muggles. Veronica let out a frustrating sigh as she gave him another quick glance over as she made her choice whether to send him away. On the second time around she noticed the tip of his flashing Dark Mark. So this was the man she had been waiting for, it seemed Veronica might be in more trouble then she was bargaining for.
“If you promise to never call me love again then you may sit.” Veronica nodded her head towards the seat. She waved her hand towards the waitress in order for her to bring over a bottle of wine. The small girl quickly came with another glass for the new man. “ You are late, and it is disrespectful to keep a lady waiting. I would hope if we do have to meet again that you will remember the correct time. Also, I understand you come highly recommended by my cousin, Jacqueline Beaumont, and I expect result within the month. Do you have any questions?” Veronica stared across the table at the man and hoped they could around matters quickly and quietly. She would give him the money and he would do the job. End of story.

Reaper pulled the chair out from the table and sat down, laughing to himself as he watched her. She seemed absolutely infuriated that he had just called her love, it was kind of amusing to him. Reaper had never had a woman get so angry over the tiny word he used as a term of endearment for all women. "I don't believe I called you here," Reaper replied as she commented on his lateness. "...I can always leave if you'd like?" He gave her a sly smile, raising one eyebrow as he watched her. There were plenty of other wizards in the world who needed his assistance in riding themselves of a certain other wizard...he didn't need to sit here and be lectured by her.
Reaper laughed softly as she seemed to order him on what to do and when to get it done, "That's not exactly how its done, love" The world came out before he could stop it, being a part of his normal speech Reaper wasn't use to having to refrain from calling a woman the term, he smirked regardless and continued, "I need to know where you want this done...I understand you have a child?" He watched her, taking a sip from the glass of wine that had been brought for him. "I don't usually deal with situations evolving children..I need to be assured that the child will not be around when this happens. This is a process, and It's a lot more complicated then what you think"
Reaper had taken nearly a month to prepare the 'accidental' death of Mrs. Beaumont's husbands mistess. In the case of killing a muggle it was much easier to create an accident however, wizards who could ultimatly save their own lives with spells and hexes needed to be planned around. He needed to be able to rid Mrs. Blackwood of her husband without making it known to the ministry...or harming himself for that matter. And through the rising and falling apart, We discover who we are Veronica's stomach gave a small jerk when the wizard spoke of leaving her and the deal. In reality she needed him a hell of a lot more then he needed her, and so Veronica was going to have to play nice with the bad guy. Anger and a since of authority wasn't going to win her any points with him so she had only one other card up her sleeve, seduction. Forcing herself to relax, Veronica gave the wizard sitting across form her a sweet smile that would never reach her eyes. “There is no need for you to leave,” Veronica placed her hand over his trying to show her interest in their deal. However, her confidence faded slightly as he once again called her the work love. It seemed this would be harder then she thought because she would rather hex his ass to the Americas rather then have a civilized conversation with this insect of a man.
When Montague inquired about the location of the murder and of her child Veronica instantly grew cold. Why in the hell did he have to know about her child? Did he honestly thing he would be aloud anywhere near her child or allow her child to be near the murder? She pulled her hand away from his to lean back against her chair. “Don't you think I haven't already thought of that? I might be new to the game of murder but do not think for one second I would ever put Emma's life in danger. You just need to do the job you are being paid for and I will worry about the welfare of my child.” Veronica snapped at him like he was nothing more then a muggle. She was growing tired of him thinking he was in control of the situation. He was the hired help who needs to do his damn job. He stated that his job was a process that could take more then a month! The more she was around this wizard the more Veronica became infuriated. This pathetic excuse for a murder couldn't get the job done any faster then a month and that would mean she would have to spend another month in the same household as her husband. No, that was not acceptable and so it would not come to past. He would do the job in a week whether he liked it or not.
Veronica gave a bark of a laugh as she looked into Montague's eyes. “I do not give a f*ck about your process or how much more money it is going to take to get things done. You will do it sooner then a month or I swear to you I will take that pretty little face of yours my new target. I do not settle for anything but exceptional in my house or out of it. Do we have an understanding Mr. Montague?” Mrs. Blackwood gave him cold eyes and a pretty smile plastered on her lips. If he wasn't going to do the job then she would find someone else who would do it faster and cheaper.

Reaper laughed as the woman started to drill him on not concerning himself with her child, "I only meant that children are vunerable...and quite frankly they are usually brutally honest." He looked around the small room quickly before leaning in closer to her, a small evil smirk spreading a cross his face. "If you don't intended for all the wizarding world to know that your attempting to knock off your husband, I need assurance that your kid isn't going to be anywhere near the location." He smirked once more at her, attempting to assure her that his concerns were not for her child but rather the case itself. "I do this for money...nothing more, and I don't intend on getting caught because the likes of you couldn't keep your snot nosed brat occupied while daddy dies."
His last words were filled with an uncontrolable evil, he could honestly careless if he did the woman this favor or not...there would be other clients and other cases he could take on. He sat in silence now, watching her. "Why do you want this done anyway?" He looked her up and down as his words took a giant leap over the line between them, she looked very well off...why was she about to end all that. Then he smirked, "Take out a new life insurance policy lately?" He asked, taking another sip of wine as he watched her. He laughed softly to himself, winking at her as he set the glass back down.

And through the rising and falling apart, We discover who we are She needed to keep her snot nosed brat out of the way so daddy could die? Who in the hell does this prat think he is? He could not talk to Veronica Blackwood like that without paying a price. A sudden urge to slap that little smirk off of his face grew to the point where she couldn't stop herself. Veronica had to bite down on her inner lip in order to keep quiet. Before this meeting was over she would hex his ass for his rudeness and attidute. A dog must learn his place in this world.
Veronica was beginning to realize that this conversation was soon taking a turn for the worst. She had thought that it would be simple and clean no questions asked. Now she was sitting across from a man who seemed to ask to many questions for his own good and needed to know every detail about her life in order to fix the biggest problem. After a few moments of thinking every possibility over in her head Veronica once again placed her hand over her guest's before whispering, “I think before I can answer anymore of your questions we should find somewhere more private, your place or a hotel?” Then before he could answer she threw down a few dollars for the wine and walked out of the restaurant. Either he would follow her to their next location and discuss further plans or he could stay and never see her again.

Reaper was thrown off by the sudden invitation to take the encounter elsewhere. He watched as she stood up and walked out the door. He stood and followed rather quickly. "What exactly do you want here?" He demanded, his voice carrying to her as he walked out to the street, "Are you looking for a date or..." He looked around, stepping closer to her before he spoke again, "...do you want the job done?"
Reaper suddenly wasn't entirely sure that she didn't want more than his services in getting ride of her husband. He laughed softly to himself, shaking his head. "I can ride you of your problem...after that, who knows what will happen?" He said it with a smirk, looking her up and down. Veronica Blackwood was definitely a beautiful woman and one that was about to be single at that, if she wanted more than his aid in killing off her husband...he might be willing to oblige.
