Amelia had gotten up early this morning. She loved Saturday mornings. Since she got all her work that needed to be done on Fridays, Saturdays she got to do what she wanted to do, a jog, or walk, reading in the courtyard and maybe shopping in Hogsmeade. Amelia loved to just hang around.
Amelia had put on a pair of nice dark blue jeans, followed by a Beatles t-shirt with a red and black Punkfish zip up. She smiled as she put her wavy brunette hair into a half pony tail with a clip and she then put on her black converse shoes. She grabbed a book she had loved for the longest time, the Princess Bride. Amelia had taken one more look at herself before she had left her bedroom.
Amelia had made her way to her office first. She looked around then out the window at the sky. It looked as if it wanted to rain. She loved the rain so the professor didn’t mind. She sat down at her desk and decided that if she had gone out, the second her tiny foot had touched the grass, it would rain and she didn’t want to get her book wet. She placed it down on the desk and she looked at it. The black and green cover was worn out, pages turning yellow.
Amelia had pulled out some of the students homework, to make sure that she had finished doing what she needed to do before Monday and the school week started again, so Amelia grabbed her book and headed out.
The young, brunette professor had walked down to the black lake, still eyeing the clouds rolling in. she would sit down under the lonely tree until it started raining, then she would make up her mind and go back it. She really wanted to be outside. There was just something about it.
Amelia sat down and opened her book. She started reading, hearing the current bring small waves onto the edge of the shore.
