if anyone ever has an idea for a cool subplot, post it here! be sure to mention who could be involved and where it can take place. remember, just because we are not AU doesn't mean that you can't do anything that didn't happen exactly in the book/movie. making small plots is always a fun way to keep people posting(: we want your ideas. check in here every once in a while to see if you're interested in joining something that a member has mentioned.

Okay. Mete and I came up with a sub plot. Astoria is going to pretend to befriend Harry and his friends and then Harry and her will start dating at some point. The only people who know she's pretending are her, Draco, Blaise and Snape. She will be doing this so he will tell her what he's thinking, doing and planning to do. He figures the plan out, but only after he and Astoria actually fall for each other. They become awkward enemies and Harry eventually moves on. Astoria gets jealous and in turn goes for Draco to make him jealous. She ends up falling for him, and we don't know from there. James wants to play by ear. Scorpius!! Haha, had to throw that in. Well, So I've noticed that we have a good number of the Weasley family present and accounted for, played ably and well by several players. I really love the animosity between Lucius and Arthur, and the insidious plan he put into play(during chamber of secrets) to discredit the Weasleys was probably the darkest the character is portrayed. Now that the Dark Lord is returning the tables are turning in favor of the pure blooded families that found themselves the target of frequent raids and persecution subsequent to the dark lord's disappearance.. It's pay back time. I'd like to take advantage of our player base and have Lucius utilize the newly reformed death eaters to stage a raid on the weasley household. This would be a chilling example as to what happens to blood traitors, and maybe one that we know is unlikely to be played by anyone *cough* charlie, bill or percy *cough* could be hurt, not enough to death but admittance to st mungos. I was considering this as a veiled attempt to get percy put under the imperius curse as part of Lucius and the DEs attempts at taking over the ministry and of course he's a helper of fudge at this point. Since he's a scribe this might be a ploy to hurt the weasleys more than augment Voldemorts reach in the ministry. I was also considering a good bit of the house gets thrashed before the Order responds, maybe via a fienfyre (containing this may be how the DEs in question escape) of course any of these details are up for changes. But I thought this was a nice action filled plot that would be enjoyable, and would be an interesting deviation from the book proper. But I don't expect anything too drastic like revealing voldemort to the world just yet. I'd like the following involved: - Death Eaters(a few of you signed on already )
- the Order
- the weasley family
who's with me?

So Lavender, Hermione and I came up with a mini-sub-plot, kind of bumping up the romance drama from the sixth year to fifth year. Ron and Hermione are going to get close to dating, but at the last moment, Lavender's going to sneak in and steal Ron, even though Lavender and Hermione will have been starting a friendship. Lavender will do this in part to get back at Seamus and just because she does fancy Ron. This will of course totally hurt Ron and Hermione's friendship, which could be interesting to tie in during the Harry and Astoria romance. It's not a big sub-plot, but it could be amusing. If anyone is interested in getting involved, we could really use a Seamus!

I'm just adding to the outline that Aly [Ron] put up for our relationship-love-triangle-square-thing drama!
So, this is a subplot involving Lavender Brown, Hermione Granger, Ron Weasley ,and the lucky and awesome person who decides to play Seamus Finnigan!
Basically, Lavender Brown and Seamus Finnigan have been good friends for their entire Hogwarts career. They went to the Yule Ball together and stuff, and maybe sort of fancy each other, but haven’t really acted on that. They both believe that Harry might be crazy, and for a while it united them against the rest of their year. Then some conflict arises when Seamus finds out that Lavender’s changed her mind and joined the DA. He gets really upset with her, and they have a huge row. They refuse to talk to each other, and Lavender, going about everything the wrong way, decides that to ‘get back at him’ she’ll have to chat loads to Ron, who she considers hilarious and might even fancy a bit. It's basically an excuse, since she's sort of fancied Ron for a bit, but needed something, anything to push her into actually going after him. A sort of, 'Well, if Seamus won't talk to me, I'm going to talk to Ron!' weird thing that only makes sense in Lav's head.
At first, she’s chatting up Ron all the time in some mad and misguided attempt to make Seamus jealous, but then she realizes it also upsets Hermione. She feels bad, especially since they’re starting a tentative friendship, but then at the same time it’s like the icing on the cake because Hermione has never been jealous of Lavender, and it feels a little good to have something the brightest and best witch at Hogwarts wants. So, this makes Ron all the more attractive [and he was rather attractive to her before all this], and Lavender pursues him harder. They start dating.
Eventually, Lavender’s newness wears off and Ron wants out because she has this fatal flaw where she’s not Hermione so it can never work. Lavender only clings harder because she can tell she’s losing him. By this point, enough time has passed that her and Seamus are ready to forgive and forget and they tentatively start their friendship back up. Which will hopefully lead to more as soon as Ron gets up the nerve to break it off with Lavender. Well, after some time, since Lavender will be completely heartbroken, and like in the movie, will spend a lot of time trying to make Ron’s head explode with her mind at breakfast.
