deep brown eyes stared into the mirror that hung in one of the girl dormitories. angelina bit her lip as she examined her face, tucking her dark hair behind her ears. it was a rather lovely saturday morning in september. fall would be soon appoaching, the once warm weather slowly but surely leaving. angelina sighed sadly at the thought of it. she absolutely hated the colder months, especially the one that brought snow. snow was pretty to look at, like when it was first falling. but it was wet, hard to walk in, and she got sick more often. no the cooler weather was not something angelina was looking forward to. the only thing that was good about winter time was holiday. no school work or worries. just family, friends, and presents. yes lots and lots of presents. fall wasn't so bad. it wasn't to cold in the beginning and she loved watching all the leaves change colors. plus her brithday was in fall so again more presents and a day just for her.
today was a hogsmeade weekened trip, the first one this year actually. hosgmeade was one of angelina's favorite places. there was a lot of things to do and shops to look through. most of the time she would go out with friends, usually the girls, and they would shop and laugh non stop. than they would head into the hogshead to get a butterbeer. it was something they had always planned at least one weekened every year. it was the same thing over and over, a sort of tradition if you well. angelina always loved those trips. however today she had decided to go alone. honestly she hadn't even asked her friends if they had wanted to go, they had never really talked about. besides angelina was using this time to buy certain gifts and such for people. her brother's birthday was in a week and she still needed to get him something. it was hard though. her brother was a muggle and giving him wizard type gifts probably wouldn't be the best option. angelina wrinkled her nose in the mirror. maybe she would give him a packet of sweets and some money. she didn't like giving people money as presents but she had with finding him a gift. it wasn't completely her fault. the beginning of term, getting ready for quidditch, and plus the cow umbridge was already giving everyone hell.
a hiss escaped angelina at even the thought of the woman. it was just their luck to be landed with the old bat. angelina couldn't think of one person, well besides filch and some of the slytherins, that actually liked her. it was a good thing that it was angelina only had this year to go. the thought of being here with umbridge for another year was sickening. but it also was only the beginning of this year. she hoped that like the last few defense against the dark arts professors, this would be her one and only year. she would hate to have her younger friends suffer with that woman again.
a quick glance at the clock told angelina that she had better hurry. she slipped on her shoes ad grabbed her bag. she examined herself quickly in the mirror once more. she was wearing a dark purple shirt that stopped by her shoulders and a dark pair of jeans. the neckalace with the dove that she aways wore, for luck and senimental purposes, was tucked under the shirt. angelina than hurried out of her dorm, out the common room, and followed the number of students that were making their way through hogsmeade. she gave her name to filch, who at this point should have known that she would be able to go, it had been for years for merlin sake! than she began to make her way down the road to hosgmeade.
the brunette looked around at all the shops. she had stopped at one of the clothing shops, wondering if her brother would like a nice shirt or something. nothing looked very appealing. she stopped over at honeydukes and like always it was overcrowded with fellow students who probably spent half their money here. the other half they probably spent at zonkos, the other popular shop at hogsmeade. she quickly grabbed some candies she thoughther probably would like and got a few sweet things for herself. she paid the woman at the counter beore making her way out of the shop and over to zonkos. she stopped in front of the store, turning her head to the side. maybe he would like something from here? they had pretty good gags and stuff like that. she eyed the inside and like she had expected, was filled with students all who had large grins on their faces. angelina smiled to herself.

Nymphadora walked through the doors of Zonkos. She hadn't been there since her own Hogwarts years. It was obviously a Hogsmead trip weekend for she the shop was filled to the brim with students. Of course the youngest were third years since you weren't aloud out any younger than that. Looking around the room she looked up and down the walls of the familiar shop. Memories of the times she came here came rushing back in a wave of happiness. It seemed like it wasn't that long ago that she was looking at the countless number of knick knacks that you could find in Zonkos. Those were good times that were for sure. Some of these products even got her into some slight trouble with her head of house Professor Sprout. Nymphadora smiled at the thought of some of the small pranks she pulled when she was younger. Her hair even began to change to its bubble gum pink color.
She wasn't the biggest trouble. From what she hears the Weasley twins are the true rulers of jokes. She won't be surprised if they open up their own shop in Hogsmead or Diagon Alley one day. As troublesome as they are they were bright and had great potential to make something of themselves. Even if they are always getting yelled at by their mother. Poor Molly. How she can handle those two is something Nymphadora would never understand. She sighed. As much as she was enjoying her little trip down memory lane this wasn't the reason she was here at all. She was actually sent by the Ministry to observe Hogwarts and help Umbridge for a day or two. Just enough to remind Dumbledore that the Ministry was watching. The nerve of the Minister. Thinking that Dumbledore would be trying to brainwash the kids or something. Not like she didin't expect Umbridge to be doing the same thing only for the Ministry. It definitly frustrated her. Her hair even started changing red. She shook her head, her hair returning to its purplish color. There was no time for that right now. She was only here for the day after all. Plus being here for the Ministry she was also here for the Order. Just to see how things were going. By Nightfall she would be gone and back home. She couldn't wait. The farther away she was from Umbridge the better. That woman wore way to much pink for her own good.
Nymphadora sighed. She decided though since she was in Hogsmead she was going to go get a butterbeer while she had the opportunity. Umbridge could wait. She turned around and started walking towards the door but of course nothing can be easy for Nymphadora. After all, she wasn't exactly the most graceful Auror, or person. Next thing she knew she was tripping over something and bumped into the person in front of her. "I'm so sorry about that. Unfortunately I'm not the most graceful person I know."

zonkos wasn't a shop angelina found herself going into whenever she came to hogsmeade. occasionally, if she was hanging around with fred and george, she would go in with them. angelina wasn't a big prankster. she wasn't a person who followed the rules all the time but she would hardly call herself someone who was always pulling jokes and getting into mischief. back in her first year she had been set on avoiding all, what she called, 'none sense.' she didn't want to get into to much trouble that would cause people to have a sort of bad image of her, especially when it came with the teachers. being labeled as a hooligan or a trouble maker was something angelna didn't want happeneing. looking back she must of seemed very stuck up. but after becoming friends with the weasley twins, probably two of the most famous pranksters at hogwarts as well as lee jordan, it was hard to avoid such things. angelina would occasionally attempt to set off pranks and fool people. but angelina didn't succeed very often. not to mention she wasn't the best liar or actress. she would just leave the pranking to her friends, laughing and cheering from a sfae distance. although this year, anglina already found herself breaking more rules due to umbridge.
it took her a moment to realize what had happened. one minute she had been standing there, staring into zonkos the next she had been collided into by someone else. whoever had bumped into her hadn't knocked her down or anything, just sort of pushed her to the side, so she caught herself. immediately after the brief collision, angelina heard someone apologizing. she looked over to the woman who had fell into her. the person seemed friendly enough but angelina's mind was focused on something else. the woman's hair was a vibrant mixture between purple and pink. it wasn't an ugly color but would defiantly make the woman. she stared at the woman for a few minutes. she was obviously not a student. she looked older, early or mid twenties perhaps. angelina was also sure that if this woman was at hogwarts, she would have seen her before. although there was something about her. she looked oddly familiar, angelina didn't know why. depending how old this woman was, there was a possibility that she went to hogwarts during angelina's first year.
a few more minutes passed before angelina flashed the woman a smile, "oh don't worry about it. nothing harmed." she said, pushing back her dark hair. everyone had those times when they would trip on something or there own two feet, angelina had done it numerous of times. quickly she scanned the woman over again, she looked to be fine as well. angelina bit her lip. should she turn around and keep walking? the woman seemed friendly enough. it wasn't like she had to be anywhere, why not make a new friend. any other person would have either mumbled a sorry but keep walking or not had said anything at all. another small hesitation before angelina stuck her hand out, "hey. i'm angelina johnson." she said politely, still smiling at the woman.

Nymphadora dusted herself off. She really needed to control herself. You would think that getting older would have possibly made her more graceful but no. It was possibily making her even more of a klutz. One may question how she became an Auror. Then again if they were to challenge her then they may actually find out. Her hair began to change into its bubble gum pink because of her embarrasement for yet another little trip. She really needed to get a grip with herself. That's probably why she was sorted into Hufflepuff. Who knew? Well, come to think about it. The sorting hat was probably the only person, or thing, that knew why. Whatever. That was years ago.
After a few moments she turned to the person she had nearly knocked over. Another person in a long list of people. It was a girl. A young girl, which considering how young Tonks was was saying something. She must have been a student, which was a bit obvious considering this was obviously a Hogsmead weekend. Nymphadora guessed that this girl was probably in either sixth or seventh year at Hogwarts. Besides the student from her own years Tonks didn't really know any of the younger ones. If she was a sixth year then there was no chance but if she was in her seventh year there is a possibility that they may have been at Hogwarts at the same time for a year. That would have put Nymphadora in her seventh and final year at the school. She smiled at her as soon as she heard her name. She shook the girl's hand and smiled. "Pleasure to meet you. Tonks. Nymphadora Tonks but I prefer to be just called Tonks. I've heard about you Angelina, you're a Gryffindor. I'm friends with the Weasley Twins and they've mentioned you a few times. Nothing bad I promise." she said with a reassuring promise.
"Again, sorry about the whole almost knocking you over thing. First impressions aren't exactly my strongest suit."

the woman, tonks, did seem to be friendly like angelina had thought. the name did sound a bit familiar to her, maybe she had heard someone mention the woman before. angelina felt her face grow hot and hoped that tonks didn't notice that she was blushing. tonks knew the twins. that was probably how she heard the name before. the twins must have talked about her once or twice. but they had talked about her before. that was what was causing angelina to blush. she loved the twins to death but in a close, friendly sort of way. however over the years of knowing them angelina had developed a crush on one of them. she had only told alicia and that had been more on accident. it wasn't that she didn't trust alicia or any of he close friends. but the less amount of people knew, the less of a chance her crush would find out. angelina never wanted him to find out. they were friends and angelina didn't want to ruin any of that by saying she liked him. it would be oh so awkward. angelina didn't have a problem talking to guys, most of her friends were guys but when it came to discussing her feelings, she would have to pass.
a chuckle escaped angelina's lips as she withdrew her hand, "well that's good to know." she murmured to herself, in regard to the twins. she hoped that the redness on her dark cheeks would fade soon. she paused before adding, "i think they might have mentioned you as well. your name sounds familiar." she admitted before continuing, "what years dd you go to hogwarts?" well assuming that she went. angelina shook her head at her thoughts. why would she been in hogsmeade unless she wasn't? quickly angelina added, "if you don't mind me asking of course." she wouldn't admit it but angelina knew that she could be a very nosy person. angelina glanced down at the bag of chocolates that was in her hands. she held out the bag toward tonks, smiling, "you want one?" she asked. hopefully she could make friends with tonks.
angelina shook her head, "oh it's no problem. i've done worse. trust me." she admitted. everyone had their far share of embarrassing moments. there had been this one time that angelina's brother had thrown this big party while there parents were out. now angelina wasn't the biggest rule breaker especially when it came to disobeying her parents. so she avoided the alcohol that her brother had managed to get. anyways angelina had been atarcted to one of her brother's friends and was doing her best to impress him and act mature. her brother noticed her liking toward her friendand decided to mess with her a little bit. he had tripped her and she had fallen into the guy, nearly knocking him and a lamp over. angelina had never been so embarresed. angelina had been furious at her brother and threatned that as soon as she was able to perform magic when she was of age, she was going to send a hex his way. but he knew, and she knew, that she would never do it.

there's a fire starting in my heart reaching a fever pitch and it's bringing me out the dark [atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,10,true][atrb=style,background-image: url('http://i53.tinypic.com/wb98wn.jpg');,true] ROLLING IN THE DEEP !
She smiled at Angelina. "She smiled at Angelina. "They mentioned that you are a pretty good Chaser on the Quidditch pitch. I hear the Gryffindor team is a very strong team. They told me that you've been named captain this year. Congratulations on that. I was never one for Quidditch myself. Love the game but to actually play it is another story." She said of the thought of her playing Quidditch on the house. Now that would have been quite the site for sure. Through all this talking she never noticed Angelina blushing. Nymphadora could be oblivious to things like that, even if she was a girl.
She looked at Angelina when she was asked about what years she had attended Hogwarts. She smiled. "It's no problem at all. Let me see. Uhhh, five years? Yeah, its been five years since I left Hogwarts. Wow, its been that long hasn't? I was a Hufflepuff." she said with pride thinking of her school days. "I think that would have put you in your second year correct? She said trying to do the calculations in her head. If she remembered correctly Angelina was in the same year as the twins, who were in their final year at Hogwarts so she was fairly certain she was correct. The final year in Hogwarts. She remembers her final year. The only thing she was concerned about that year was being able to become an Auror when she graduated. That was her main concern. Lucky for her she did. She remembered being so excited about it.
Looking at Angelina as she offered a chocolate frog Nymphadora smiled and nodded. She gladly accepted it. She loved chocolate. "Thanks. Besides we all have our embarrassing moments. Some worse than others. Some get them more than they would like to, like me. But I guess its all a part of living. For if you didn't have your embarrassing moments people may think your perfect. And where's the fun in being perfect?" she said with a smile. "But look at me babbling on and keeping you from enjoying you trip." she said with a smile. Nymphadora was normally wearing a smile, unless there was reason not to. Looking at her small clock. "And unfortunately I have to go report to Professor Umbridge. The joy that will be." she said in a very sarcastic tone. She looked back at Angelina and put out her hand to shake. "Well, it was a pleasure meeting you Angelina. I look forward to seeing around Hogwarts. I'll be staying for a little while so I'm sure I'll be seeing you again. You take care Angelina." She said giving Angelina one last smile before heading off to the castle. Unfortunately, this time, she wasn't exactly happy about seeing the castle while only imagining what was waiting for her inside.
