dementor: When I was young I liked to go exploring a lot. One day I was out with my family and I went of on my own, even though my mother wasn't exactly happy. Point is I found this hole in the ground and it was pitch black. I was leaning to far in and I ended up falling into the darkness. I was there for a little while before I was found. It was just the feeling of falling into darkness alone that scared me.

overall personality: What can I say about my personality? In a few words, I am very energetic and bubbly all the time. Of course it the situation is serious I will be serious. I just don't think I need to serious all the time. Where's the fun in that? I'm a very curious girl but I may go a bit overboards. That's probably why Moody tends to scold me so much. I love meeting new people and I'm very friendly. As long as you don't upset me that is. A few of the things I like include obviously being an Auror and Metamorphagi. I love being able to change my hair color. I love the group Weird Sisters. Like most girls I love chocolate, delicious. Flying and spell casting of course. I love the feel of my wand in my hand. I'm proud to be a half-blood.
When it comes to things I don't like that could take a while. First of all of I dislike my name. Who names their child Nymphadora, honestly? That's why I prefer to be called Tonks. Obviously I hate death eaters. I wish they could all just end up in Azkaban all ready. That includes my Aunt Bellatrix. She's the worse in my opinion, not including Voldemort of course. I hate disloyaty and liars as well as bullys. If there's one thing I truly despise besides my first name is anyone witch or wizard who think they are better than anyone else just because they're pureblood. Like most of my mother's family.
The thing you should know about me is that I don't really care what people think about me. Why should I? It's not like what other people believe is going to have any affect on me. I have trained and worked hard to be the person I am today and I don't need to go proving anything to anyone. Except when it comes to dueling Death Eaters, that's when I get to prove that I'm the better witch. I am also not afraid to speak my mind. Although I must admit that I am a tad clumsy. You may find me falling over the smallest of things sometimes. One thing that I will say, but it is a secret so you mustn't say anything. I sort of have a growing crush on Remus Lupin. There's just something about him that I like.[/color][/font]

overall history: Nymphadora was born the daughter of Andromeda Tonks, formerly Black, and Ted Tonks. Ted is a muggle thus making Nymphadora a half-blood. She was never close to her Black family members for her mother was shunned for marrying a Muggle. This did not affect her though. She grew up in a very loving home, got quite along with her cousin Sirius Black and didn't care of her blood status.
When she attended Hogwarts she was sorted into Hufflepuff house. Opon graduating she began training to become an Auror. She trained under the watchful of Alastor Moody. After a few years she passed her training and became a full fledge Auror and her mentor Moody, despite having almost failed because of her clumsiness. Since then though she had noticed that things seemed to be changing in the Wizarding World. Nymphadora was among the few Aurors and Ministry workers that did not fall for the Ministry lie that Voldemort had not return. Before she knew it she found herself joining the reconstituited Order of the Phoenix. She works as covert employee in the Ministry. She collects information that could be useful to the Order and that the Ministry is trying to keep hidden.[/color][/font]

Nymphadora had left the Ministry for a little while. She grew tired of the place every now and then, especially when all she would here was how Dumbledore and Harry were liars, how the Dark Lord hadn't returned. It was all rubbish. The Ministry just couldn't accept it. Even with all the mysterious disappearances that were occuring somehow it was beyond their comprehension to believe in the at least the possibility of Voldemort's return. Honestly, why would Dumbledore want the Minister's job. That's just idiotic. Tonks let out a huff. It just upset her so much. The Ministry could be helping the Order in figuring out ways to prepare and defeat Voldemort and yet most of them would rather go on with their lives thinking that none of it was going on.
Of course she couldn't let any of these feelings be known. It would blow her cover. As an Auror she was able to be in the Ministry and find any information that the Order should know. Things that the Ministry are trying to keep under wraps, such as the disappearances. That doesn't she liked it very much. In all honesty she would rather be out doing other things for the Order, like Remus. Then again it could be worse. I could be stuck and cooped up here like Sirius. she thought. She felt bad for her beloved cousin. Since he was an escaped prisoner of Azkaban, even if he was innocent, he still had to remain hidden. She couldn't imagine having to be in his situation and she was always wishing that there was something she could do about it, like find Peter Pettigrew and clear Sirius name. Unfortunately that wasn't her job, and Moody would be sure to remind her of it. She lightly laughed at the thought of her mentor. She could hear his words in her head.
When she had arrived at Grimmauld Place she had gone straight to the kitchen to get a quick snack to eat. There didn't seem to be anyone home at the moment really, including Sirius. So she just snuck her way into the kitchen, which was hard considering what kind of person she was. She grabbed an apple and started making her way back down the hall. She was very pleased with herself. She hadn't knocked into anything. Spoke to soon. As soon as she was congratulating herself she found herself knocking into someone. She smiled a bit. "It's not problem. I'm always knocking into people and things myself." She said before reaching out to shake the woman's hand. "Pleasure to meet ya. I'm Tonks. Nymphadora Tonks but I prefer to be called Tonks. I haven't seen you around before. Are you new?" She asked with an excited curiousity. She liked to meet new people, especially if they were friendly and on the Order's side.
