Pardon me! Coming through! Okay, young sir, you ran into me. 'Ey, you! Looking absolutely lovely today. Me? Joking? I would do no such thing! It was always such a chore to get through the crowd at Hogwart's, especially before Christmas. The only beneficial portion of it all was the opportunity to make annoying comments back as people complained at him for pushing them aside. Until the end of December, there were always students who were not certain of where they were going or where they had a class. Maybe running out wasn't the best idea between classes, but it was one of the best times that the twins could make their escape from the castle. Fred finally got to one of his favorite passageways and made it out pretty quickly.
The twins had done this since their third year. After finding the Marauders' Map, there was no way they were staying inside while they had no classes. It was far more exciting to venture out when they could.. often finding supplies for potions growing on Hogwart's soil. Of course, their rendezvous changed in location every few days to assure that they wouldn't be caught. The Weasley twins..getting caught...HA. They laughed at such a possibility. Sneaking out was , indeed, risking a lot, but they didn't fret over it so much. The real threats were Snape and Umbridge..for completely different reasons. If Snape caught them, potions classes would be turned into a bloody nightmare. Umbridge would surely give them multiple detentions and make them do something absurd such as write enough to fill a foot of parchment , or any other method of punishing an immature child. The two most feared people in the school and yet one had a hell of a lot more respect than the other.
The second the ginger's feet touched the grass growing outside, he darted for the Whomping Willow, which was the meeting place of choice for this particular day. Fred never liked being near the potentially dangerous tree much, though that wouldn't get in the way of spending secretive time with George. They could talk about anything without consequence. They could study for OWLs as Fred had suggested, but both the brothers knew better than to believe that that would be going on. They often used the time to gossip about certain hated professors or to plan amusing ways to mess with their favorite brother, Ronnie.
To his dismay, George was not in sight upon his arrival. He looked around for a moment and stood with his back against the massive tree while peeking around its huge diameter. Georgeeee? His voice was just audible enough to be heard from the other side of the tree. Forge? Mate? Normally, being the slightly less responsible twin, Fred had been the later of the two to arrive. Marco! He figured that his brother was somewhere hiding so he sat down slowly , propping his knees up while fidgeting with a blade of grass by his feet.

George walk casually down the hall. He wasn’t really in much of a hurry to meet his twin in their normal meeting spot. Fred would probably push and shove everybody and get in trouble anyways, so George had time to get to the Whomping Willow. So, he took his time and said hello to people he knew, tripped people he didn’t and high fived his friends. He did manage to pass Umbridge and give a tip of his invisible hat to her as he went by. Vile woman she was. He shuddered at the thought as he came to a secret passage and went through it.
When he came out, he was right in front of the brutal tree. Smirking, he saluted the tree and took off running towards it and made it safely inside. Smirking to himself, he made his way to the room inside and, of course, Fred was no where to be found. He always beat his twin here. He decided to just sit for a little bit. The two had found this place and used it for their meetings. They never got caught anyways, but this would help so they never did.
George then heard his brother coming, so he decided to hide. He let Fred look around for a bit and call his name. At the precise time, George popped out. ”Polo!” Laughing to himself, he sat back down in his chair. Putting his feet on the table, he faced Fred again. ”Dear Gred, why did you call me here on such a nice day? I could be picking on some first years right now.” [/justify][/blockquote]

Polo! Fred's head jerked up in order to look around before seeing his twin inside the tree. After giving himself a face-palm for not checking in there, he ran inside once he was able to get into the small hole of an entrance. He nearly stumbled to the ground before seeing George, sitting comfortably in a chair. 'Ello there, mate. He saluted and nodded to conclude his greeting. It was never simple when it came to his brother. He always needed a special greeting..rather than the average hello.
He chuckled when he saw George's feet on the table..as if they were in their home. They always had their feet on a table and it drove their mum absolutely mad (all the more reason for them to enjoy it). One of these days , I will be sure to get here before you. For a moment there, I thought it was today. Fred took a seat in a chair positioned directly across from the other, and the two sets of eyes were evenly leveled.
Have you not taken your books in here? How are we supposed to do homework? He pretended to be appalled; completely taken off-guard. They'd study when Umbridge burned a fuzzy, pink cat. Neither occurrence was very likely. If it weren't for the exceptional talent that the twins had developed over the years in potions, DADA, and charms, they would both undoubtedly be failing with their miniscule work ethic. They were , indeed, very smart. They just chose to put their knowledge to good use.
Well, we have a problem. I believe that the youngest Weasley male has gone two days without being harassed. I mean, I know we've been busy irking Umbridge with Harry, but we're slacking. They really had been doing a lot of planning lately. George had been coming up with ideas on how to get the madwoman down while Fred had been thinking about how to carry out those ideas. That was the way things worked with all great plans involving the Weasleys. Though, despite the fact that they had been occupied with other things, they couldn't let Ron forget that it was their job to bug him.
His feet joined the other ginger's pair right on the table separating the two chairs.

George smirked as he knew he caught Fred off guard. Well, he always did that, but it never got old. Fred would get him back. Sometime, somewhere. Nodding to his salute, he chuckled at what his brother had to say. ”The day you arrive before me is the day I actually start listening to Umbridge.” Yeah, that would be day. They hated the vile woman, if she really was a woman. She had to be female, in the voice at least. It made him cringe. Like, nails on the chalkboard.
”Books? What are those? I’ve never heard of such things.” He joked of course. The two boys actually studied and did the work they were assigned to do. Of course, they only did it to the standards that were required. They never went beyond what was assigned. That wasn’t like them. They used that brain power elsewhere. That was something that was useful.
Fred was right. Ron was out running around prank free. How could he forget about Ron? There was too much going on around the school and he kept forgetting about the usual tasks at hand. ”You’re too right Gred. We need to come up with something to make up for the loss. Something amazingly awesome. So bloody awesome, it blows our minds. To the max.” That was going to be hard. I mean, the two of them were pretty smart, but this one was going to be difficult. They would have to plot like crazy. ”Do you have anything in mind?” [/justify][/blockquote]

Fred looked at his twin in mock surprise. George Fabian Weasley, if I didn't know better, I'd say that you were amused with the fact that I can't beat you. I assure you that I will prevail. Eventually. He shuddered at the comment that his brother made next. Believe me, the second won't happen. I won't allow it. You won't obey such a sad excuse for a professor. About Umbridge, they were on the same page, as they normally were. They both knew, no better than the other, that they would sooner cut off their own hands than do what that hag wanted them to. They were going to rebel, there was no questioning it.
He couldn't help but laugh as George claimed to be oblivious to books. Playing along, he smirked. I hear they're these things that you can throw, great distances. You put them on their side and flick your wrist..they glide through the air. In his opinion, a much more useful method of using a book. My mistake for having thought you had come with one. Books.. HA.
We can come up with something mind-blowing, my friend.. he said, stroking his invisible beard. It had to be good.. it was for their favorite target. It needed to exceed expectations. After a few minutes of thought, something popped into Fred's mind; a high point for the twin as he wasn't usually one to think of the plan. I heard him talking to Harry last night in the Common Room, they want to study for their O.W.L.s tomorrow , after supper. They're going straight there, from the Great Hall. He took such pride in the fact that he knew so much about what went on in Ron's life. Eavesdropping on him was just too easy. What if we did something to his food..something to throw his focus..or.. or to get him thinking of irrelevant thoughts.. right before they go. So it wasn't much, but they had somehting to work with.

George gave a little smirk when his twin used his full name. He only used it when he was mad or joking around. He loved to joke around with his brother. They weren’t just twins, they were best friends. He loved it that way. ”You know I would never be amused when it comes to your feelings and determination Fredward.” George scoffed when Fred said what he did about Umbridge. It was true. She was a sad excuse for a professor. Dumbledore mustn’t of been able to find anyone decent to fill the position. He didn’t blame the people. He wouldn’t want that job with its track record. ”You are too right dear brother. I’m not too worried about her though. We can’t keep a Defense Against the Dark Arts professor to save our lives. She’ll be out by the end of the year, or sooner I’m hoping.”
The books. Ah yes. The things used for learning. Though, Fred seemed to have a better idea for them. And, of course, George liked this one better. Way better. ”We can use them as. Oh, what do those muggles call them. Dad tried to get us to use them once. Frisbies! I kind of liked them though. You throw them? At people? And hope they catch it? Brilliant idea. No mistake. If I would have known that was the way we were going to use them, I would have brought one. Alas, there’s no one around really to throw them at here.” There was no way he was throwing it at the tree. He liked his life.
He liked the idea. For once, Fred had come up with the idea. ”I love it. Ronald eats anything and everything, and without looking. He’ll just eat it right up. I might feel a little bit bad for him though. I mean, he’s going to have a tough time passing his O.W.L.s in the first place, especially with the toad teaching. Hermione will help him though. We’ll be giving him an excuse for him to ask her help. Maybe then he’ll actually learn something.” Yeah, right. [/blockquote]

*escapes from umbridge in a series of forceful kicks*
. . . . .
Laughing and acknowledging his clear sarcasm, he responded in the same scoff-filled tone. My feelings and determination are, of course, your whole world. You simply have yet to learn that my determination will get me here before you tomorrow. Yes, you've just been challenged. Accept or be washed with the failure of being a coward he added, already being able to bet fifty galleons that George would accept, and then Fred would lose. Let the record show that he attempted to present competition.
Agreeing with the Umbridge comment, he added, We'll get that pink ball of yuck out of here before the term is half done. The statement was said with a great amount of confidence. As long as he could say 'we', he could count on the two achieving any goal that they shared. Together, their plans didn't ever fail.
He laughed as he listened to his twin describe frisbees, reminiscing on the memory of them actually using one as kids. They were quite the invention.. gliding through the air, light enough to get some distance and heavy enough to do some major black and blue to Percy's face. As much as he wanted to relive the feeling, they wouldn't dare throw anything near where they stood. Tonight..in the shop.. we come up with an anti-gravity disc of the sort. Not throwing anything around here. He knew that he was on the same page with George with that being said. Hitting the temperamental tree was suicide.
Exactly. Ronnie would love the extra time with Granger.. all the more snogging opportunity. As this sentence left his lips, he shuddered at the mental image he had created. He placed a hand on George's shoulder. My apologies..that was uncalled for. He shoved the image to the back--very back..of his mind before continuing again. Meaning..he would think of why washing the dishes was a good and helpful way to improve society before he'd allow that picture back into his brain. Moving on..
It won't take much to throw him off track. 'Arry will know that something's up soon enough.. so there's really no harm in doing it. We could even repay him for it.. give 'em something that does the opposite..make him spurt out random bits of information. He'll know everything. It'd also make him enthusiastic and jumpy.. imagine that in Snape's class. Oh, how they loved tormenting their little brother, and then , ironically, getting him even more peeved when they try to reverse the affects of the original prank.
He then took his feet off of the table and stood up, extending his hand long enough to grab hold of the twin's arm. Up for an unsupervised trip to Diagon? They could get anything they needed from Diagon Alley, and it was unlikely that they'd see anyone who would recognize that they were supposed to be in school. It was perfect.
