physical description: Draco is very pale skinned, much the same as his mother and father. He inherited it, which unfortunately does not help his case when he is in his dark Slytherin robes. He looks white as a ghost most of the time. That lack of color is matched to his stone grey eyes, which only convey emotion when he is angry or upset. Otherwise, most people can not tell what Draco is thinking or feeling. If he cries (which he hardly ever does), his eyes are lined with red color, showing that he had been upset. Splashing his face with water a few times usually clears the red away. Draco has blond, almost white hair inherited from his father, albeit Draco's being much shorter than Lucius'. Below his long nose is a pair of thin lips, which are often seen twisted into a smirk or grimace. Draco is rather slender but has some build from playing Quidditch both on the school team and on his own time. He is tall, reaching 5'10", above his mother's height and almost matching his father's. Draco, when not in his Slytherin uniform, can be seen in only clothing of class. Nobody would see him in anything other than a suit (unless it was his pajamas), and he always walks around in a suit when with his parents.

mirror of erised: To put Harry in his rightful place, and to become someone great in the Ministry. Making his father and mother proud.
fears:
Magical creatures (only the dangerous ones, obviously. Hippogriffs included)
Defeat - he does not like to be seen as weak.
Disowning - He does not want to be disowned by his father for doing something out of line, which could be quite possible.
boggart: The death of his parents. One wrong move and they could be seriously injured. Draco has only his family and Blaise Zabini that he truly trusts and losing his parents would be the worst thing to happen to him. The death of the people he's relied on for so long would be collateral damage to Draco, and he would most likely seek revenge for it.
dementor: Being injured by the Hippogriff in his Third Year. Before then, Draco had maintained his masculine leadership role, and then he had showed everyone he had weakness within him. He'd called on his father to prove that the Malfoy family was not to be messed with, and that Draco had influence in society to fix his status. He was injured for weeks, and that was the only time he dared show weakness, but after his father had the bloody Hippogriff beheaded, Draco went back to belittling people and his usual routine of leading Crabbe and Goyle (as well as the rest of the group) around. The worst moment of that had been the moment before the Hippogriff took a whack at him - the moment he had shown the fear. The moment he had exposed weakness to his rivals.
patronus: Draco has never mastered the Patronus because it was never routinely taught to the students. but if he had a Patronus, it would be a panther. His favourite memory was his father seeing his acceptance letter to Hogwarts. Although Draco despises Hogwarts, Lucius Malfoy for once was proud of his son for becoming a wizard and carrying on the family name in wizardry. Although it was his mother who took him to Diagon Alley to retrieve his necessary supplies, his father's words of encouragement and pride still floated in his head.
relationship status: single (although Pansy would claim different for him)

Rodolphus Lestrange - uncle

Abraxas Malfoy - grandfather (father's side)

overall history: Draco Malfoy was born to Lucius Abraxas Malfoy and Narcissa Melania Malfoy, and was the only child born to them. He grew up in a very different environment. His father was extremely strict, always saying in the future that Draco would thank him for it. His mother, however, was very sensitive and was soothing him when Draco's father yelled. Draco always tried to obey his father, knowing his father had the final work, that his mum would always go along with what Lucius said. The two parents never hid their magic from Draco; in fact, from a young age, Lucius and Narcissa often told him he would be a wizard and make them proud. They did not hide from him the fact that they were both Death Eaters, and Draco understood the concept of the darker side of magic before he was announced a wizard. Many other dark wizards visited and spoke of news, and Draco liked to listen in and overhear what they conversed about. His aunt Bellatrix, when around and not in Azkaban, often visited, and became his favorite aunt. Draco was told many good stories, and although people called her kooky and mental, Draco thought she was a witch not to be messed with. It had been no surprise that Draco received a letter from Hogwarts, but the pride the emanated from his father made Draco smile, for once. Lucius did not often show his pride in Draco, so when he did, Draco walked around like the king of the world. His mother accompanied him to Diagon Alley to gather his belongings for school, and while getting his robes fitted, ran into someone who would turn out to be his worst enemy.
Draco Malfoy ran into Harry Potter in the fitting room at Madam Malkin's, and began to tell him about Wizarding society and how Mudbloods should not be allowed into the school. Draco has never liked Mudbloods (Muggleborn students) because they are not from Wizarding families, and to him, therefore have no right participating at schools with the Pureblooded children. Harry, apparently not pleased with Draco's beliefs and values, later denied his request for friendship just before being sorted. Draco gave Harry an opportunity to be friends with the best, and he threw it away. From then on, Draco had sworn revenge on that moment by trying to make Harry's life hell in the most subtle yet effective ways. Draco sat on the stool to be sorted. The hat hardly brushed his light blond hair before it bellowed out SLYTHERIN. Draco was proud, and knew his parents would be too. Draco meets Blaise Zabini, Vincent Crabbe and Gregory Goyle, and forms his own little group of friends/followers. Both Crabbe and Goyle were not too bright of individuals, and Draco used them in most of his schemes. Zabini actually was someone up to his intellectual level, and so Draco made friends with him. During a Flying Lesson, Draco took Neville's Remembrall and flew away, throwing it when harry Potter caught up to him. Unfortunately that plan did not go so well, he landed Potter a spot on the Quidditch team, rare for any First Year. He tried thwarting Potter's chances for success at the school again with a midnight duel (Draco had alerted Argus Filch, the school's caretaker, before the fact), but somehow Harry escaped.
In his Second Year, Draco Malfoy becomes Seeker for Slytherin's Quidditch team, now making him even more of a rival for Harry Potter (if that was even possible). He knows he only made it because of his father's "kind" donation of Nimbus 2001 broomsticks, and when Hermione Granger, the most prattiest Mudblood in Draco's mind, makes a comment about his lack of talent compared to the bribery, Draco makes an equally rude comment about her blood status. Ron Weasley, part of what Draco considers a blood traitor family, tries to send a spell Draco's way, but it rebounds on Ron, causing him to spew slugs. The Chamber of Secrets was opened, and although people had suspected and made rumors that Draco opened the Chamber, he denied it honestly, and always followed with the sly comment that he hoped a certain frizzy haired Mudblood was next to die. In his Third Year, during a Care of Magical Creatures class, Draco was attacked by a Hippogriff. Draco ran and sent a letter to his father, and his father requested the beat beheaded and Rubeus Hagrid fired from his new job as a Professor. It also postponed the Slytherin/Gryffindor Quidditch match due to his "injuries". Although that was all good, it landed him a slap across the face from Hermione Granger, making him look like a fool. He taunted Harry through the year about fainting because of Dementors, even raising the hood on his cloak at times to pretend to be a Dementor. Having advantage over Potter was always something good for Draco.
In Draco's Fourth Year, after Harry was unexpectedly elected as the Fourth Champion in a TRIWizard Tournament, Draco made rather humorous Potter Stinks, Support Cedric buttons that he and the other Slytherins adorned. Draco also started rumors in the Daily Prophet by contacting Rita Skeeter, using it to manipulate Harry's relationships with his friends, to try and break them apart. In a way, it brought Draco joy, seeing the boy he despised in agony and emotional pain. He tried to cast a spell at Harry when his back was turned, but Mad Eye Moody (or rather, Barty Crouch Jr. disguised as Moody) turned him into a snow white ferret, teaching him his most important lesson thus far - making sure he was not going to be caught when he was going after Harry.
