Dear perhaps equally-bored Reader,
You must be just as sleepless as I am if you're awake at this hour, so in that case, I do sympathize for your situation. It's getting harder and harder to sleep at ease with all of the tension arising this school year... I can only hope that things will end well, although I think all of us deep down in our hearts know that it won't. What do you think, reader? If we're going to be awake at such a late hour, I think we'd might as well talk about something interesting, although I hopefully intend to keep this conversation from taking on a negative perspective. If you've a better idea, please go ahead and write about it. My poor brain isn't its usual self when I'm sleep-deprived and tired, so I apologize. Do introduce yourself, though, Mister/Missus Reader. I always do enjoy meeting new people!

Michael as in Michael Chittock? How have you been? I'm glad to hear from you after such a long time, although I would rather have our conversation be at a more preferable time hehe. I've been good though, a bit stressed as usual from the workload as always but content  Has Mrs. Toad been treating you nicely at least? And the other teachers as well? I expect they're all a bit tense with what's been going on, so hopefully their bad tempers haven't gotten to you yet.

Really? You 'hung out' with a girl? Oh, do be safe, Michael. :( I would hate to see you get hurt by something as silly as a little girl. I'm sorry to hear about your run-in with the Slytherins. Maybe I should be the one doing the beating up for you instead? ;) I'm only joking, but really, don't let those nasties get to you. They're just so annoying, always going on about blood status this and "oh-we're-so-rich" that. Does blood really mean that much? I mean, look at that Hermione Granger. She's a muggleborn like me and she's at the top of her class as well. I bet the Slytherins use it just as an excuse to make up for their thick heads :P
