Deidra's eyes looked up at the sky, watching a bird soar by. How she wished she could be that bird in all honesty. A gentle sigh left her lips as she looked from the sky, and out toward Hogsmeade. How she longed to travel down the road, stop at The Three Broomsticks, grab a Fire Whiskey and something sweet, then head back. But in the back of her mind, Deidra knew she couldn't, not without looking completely ridiculous. Fire Whiskey would help with her courage, but it wasn't her courage that hindered her. It was her phobia, agoraphobia to be exact. Her ice blue eyes grew clouded as she dreamt of what she could do, travel the world, even see what was just down the road back home. Not having it, would certainly make her feel like that bird.
Deidra decided to stop daydreaming and go back to work. Her hand reached up as her long fingers brushed some of her raven locks out of her face. Her long wavy hair was twisted up in a messy french knot. Her black robe billowed out around her tall frame, underneath a nice simple off the shoulder dark blue tight dress and of course black pumps. Her pale face was deprived of makeup, but she didn't need it. Immediately, her posture became almost perfect with standing as she turned and began to walk back towards Hogwarts, her hips swaying with each step. Her presence was that of elegance and femininity, as if she was studying the ways of being a lady all her life. It was just how she seemed to carry herself.
Her ice blue eyes peered through thick lashes as they stayed in front of her. Nothing seemed to phase her, even as a student dropped their book next to her, or a male student gawked. She actually liked the attention, not the sexual attention from a younger student, just their attention. She was a very charismatic woman and demanded another's attention. When another didn't act as if they were enchanted, even though it drove her mad, she found it quiet refreshing. Though she still yearned for them to hang on her every word. She was an interesting woman like that.
Deidra ascended the stairs to the fourth floor, not many students were on them but that was quite alright. Class was in section after all. With each step, her robe seemed to blow from her frame and fly back, making her seem as if she was walking faster then she was. Her hand reached as she opened the door to the library and quickly walked in. The smell of old books immediately greeted her and Deidra let out a heavy sigh, ah her home away from home. Her heels sounded harsh on this floor, and her head moved from side to side as she looked down each aisle of book shelves on her way to the desk. Just to make sure no students were goofing off, of course some looked up at her as she walked by and she gave them a quick smile.
Deidra turned on her heel as she made it to her desk and swiftly turned, her hands landing on her desk top as she stood inside the center of the large wooden circular monstrosity. Her hands stayed on the desk as she leaned forward and waited for a student who needed help. Her ice blue eyes moved as she looked out the window in her peripheral vision. How she wished to have that Fire Whiskey right about now. But in all honesty she loved it up here in the library, Umbridge didn't bother her much.
