BLAISE LOUIS ZABINI [/font]   Blaise is quite the guy. He's a fifth year in Slytherin, but isn't exactly the most popular lad around. He's got gorgeous features, but sadly not a personality to match. Blaise rarely talks; he uses facial expressions and coughs and amusement to get his point across. He doesn't have many friends, or any really at all, because he discriminates against Muggles, Half-Bloods, Blood Traitors, but doesn't like Voldemort or Death Eaters either. The only two people he can stand are Draco Malfoy and Pansy Parkinson, but even they get on his nerves and he doesn't consider them any more than acquaintances. Blaise is bound to have plenty of enemies. Known for his fussy nature about girls, it is highly unlikely he will find a permanent girlfriend, or even a temporary or flirty type girl. This girl would have to be beautiful, Slytherin, and a pure blood who is not a traitor, not to mention not annoy him constantly. But he isn't too picky or anything.... Yay. Another Slytherin!! Well, in the books and movie, Tori marries your best friend. But this site is AU, so I don't know if that still will happen. Friendsss?

hermione and blaise ,enemies. given the circumstances of who they are both friends with, the two probably just naturally fall into the category of being each other's enemies.

Harry & Blaise
I've always rather liked Blaise, despite how little of him we see in the books, because he was always came off as a little more wise then the rest of his housemates.
I think that, despite his involvement in the Astoria plot, because of the way Blaise behaves and the fact that, though he believes in blood purity he does not support Voldemort, Harry would have a silent respect for him as a Slytherin who is more than just the stereotype.
I believe it would be interesting to have these two interact via the threads as well as ICC, what do you think?

Parselmouth Pleasantries is an open thread I've got for Harry in which they could meet and perhaps have a bit of a neutral chat on the nature of snakes that could be a pseudo conversation about Harry's views on Slytherin, thus demonstrating Harry's capability with subtlety and keeping them both on a relatively respectful ground before the downfall of the Astoria plot, which could make the scene between them cause Harry to be able to respect Blaise despite his involvement in it.
If you're not up for that one though, I'm sure I can come up with something just for them, or we could do something with Astoria and maybe Draco involved as well.

Awesome! And please don't worry about matching post length! I fluctuate a lot; sometimes I have long posts, othertimes short posts, and it all depends on the muse really.

Meleny is a fifth year Gryffindor and I think she would fall under enemies. She doesn't discriminate against muggles, half bloods, blood traitors, etc. Meleny doesn't support Voldemort either and is considered a blood traitor by her father and sister. She supports everything that's on the side of good magic.
