At the moment he is currently undergoing a bit of reconstruction, due to some epic plots between himself, Snape, Hogwarts and the Death Eaters in general. Avery is an interesting character, and I'll tell you why in just a second. Just bear with me while we get him stabilized. (AKA - There is a lot of change coming to his background information but I'll update this to keep you posted) The rest of this should remain unchanged however. =) Eric is a Death Eater, that we're planning to assign to Hogwarts to serve as the Dark Lords spy. This will bring him closer to his best friend, and of course expose him to the fact that there is a chance the Dark Lord is wrong, and that perhaps he will find enough light to find the courage to stand up for himself. He is an intelligent adult, if not very childish. He is selfish, short-tempered, and is not above throwing a tantrum. He would tell you that Severus Snape is his best friend, and closest ally, as they have been friends since their first year at Hogwarts. IMPORTANT NOTE: Avery is actually the one who gave Voldemort the idea that an Undesirable could retrieve the prophecy from the Department of Mysteries if under the Imperius Curse. ----- F R I E N D S ----- Eric only has two friends who he'd consider close enough to die for: Severus Snape, and Lucas Mulciber (We're still looking for him guys!). He is a bit of a coward, and is loyal only to a handful of people. He doesn't have many friends, though he is slowly beginning to flower where a social life is concerned. He is a bit challenging to get along with, and is still a child at heart. He also seems to be under the protection of Severus Snape. Aside from that, Death Eaters and the Dark Lord are probably the closest thing to friends he has got, though in secret, as he seems to be a spy for the Dark Lord, he is beginning to waver in which side he has to take. He is beginning to see the importance of relationships, and is even becoming more and more accepting than he once was. ----- L O V E R S ----- For fifteen years, Eric has bottled up his feelings for Severus Snape, but recent events have brought out his all ready questionable sexuality to a brighter light. Having been attracted to Severus, with an unrequited stand point, he understands fully what Severus has gone through with Lily. These two have a complicated relationship, because he feels that he's been invisible for several years for a woman who chose a Gryffindor instead of the man any respectable woman would have embraced. He feels cast aside, and is not particularly angry with Severus, though he is starting to break apart at the seams over his own emotional disarray. Snape has always been his guardian, but now all Eric wants is to take care of his friend in return. While they are not an item, his eyes are solely set upon Severus. ----- E N E M I E S ----- Oh, Merlin! There are bound to be a lot of these. Eric is all ready a man with a lot of bounties over his head, for killing muggles, mudbloods, and blood-traitors alike. He was once a suspected Death Eater, but he escaped the clutches of the Ministry of Magic under false claims that he served the Dark Lord only because of the Imperius Curse. The Ministry bought his lie, and he was set free from Azkaban. However, he is responsible for killing many innocents in his time, which might, or might not, result in certain families scarring his name forever. He is heartless when it comes to killing, because he has an ability to turn off his emotions when doing such deeds. He is a coward, but is a coward that has his uses, and killing undesirables has once been his proudest claim. However, now he's not so sure. ] so maybe these two could meet up by chance a few times and I don't know, like have a friendship grow. Lexii could be a little 'brainless' and think Eric is one hundred percent on the order's side and put trust in him or something! :] and well, something could come up and they get in a fight! Yeah... and idk, i lost my train of thought....
